Francesco Musinu studied at Conservatorio in Cagliari under the guidance of Marcella de Osma.
After winning Belli Competition of Spoleto, he took part in the lyric seasons with world-wide known artists such as the conductors Muti, Chailly, Oren, Gelmetti, Bonynge, Santi, Abbado, Bartoletti, the singers Domingo, Alagna, Bruson, Dessì, Devinu, Ricciarelli, Manca di Nissa, Scandiuzzi, Ghiaurov, Frontali and the directors Bene, Pizzi, Cavani, Salvatores, Zhang Ymou.
