Born in Cottbus, Germany, Annika Kaschenz took her diploma in piano and in singing at the Music Conservatory of her home town. She continued her studies in Dresden and after moving to Italy she received her second singing diploma from the Music Institute R.Franci in Siena with the highest marks.

Afterwards, she began an intense concert activity that took her regularly to Germany, France, the Netherlands, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the USA and to Italy.

In Germany she sang at the Staatstheater of Cottbus with the Symphony Orchestra and in the Zwinger Saal in Dresden performing contemporary music in world premiere.

She recorded music by M. Tournier and by H. Rénie for the label Max Research.

2007: she  performed in numerous concerts in Great Britain, Austria and in the Untited States.

2008: La Rondine (Suzy), La Fenice - Venezia; Boris Godunov (Feodor), La Fenice - Venezia.  

2009: Romeo et Juliette (Stefano) – La Fenice - Venezia; concerts in New York; La Rondine (Suzy and Lolette) - Leipzig (Germany); Traviata (Flora) – La Fenice - Venezia.  

2010: Semiramide (Azema) - Opera National de Montpellier.

2011: Francesca da Rimini, Gianni Schicchi, La medium, Lucia di Lammermoor - Teatro Verdi – Trieste; Semiramide – Naples.

2012: Anna Bolena (Smeton) and Rigoletto – Trieste; Rigoletto and Traviata – Venice; Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rosina), Cavalleria rusticana (Lola) and Le nozze di Figaro (Cherubino) - Duesseldorf.

2013 and 2014: Le nozze di Figaro (Cherubino), Carmen, Rigoletto, Traviata, Die Zauberflöte, Cavalleria rusticana  – Duesseldorf and Duisburg.

2014 and 2015: Rigoletto, Carmen, Die Zauberflöte, Suor Angelica, Le nozze di Figaro (Cherubino), Il barbiere di Siviglia (Rosina) and Hansel und Gretel (Hansel) - Duesseldorf and Duisburg.

2016: Hansel und Gretel (Hansel), Lucia di Lammermoor, Carmen, Suor Angelica, Trouble in Tahiti - Duesseldorf and Duisburg.
