Francesco Lucii, born in Empoli on July 24th, 1996. He begins his vocal studies at the age of seventeen with the soprano Elena Bartolozzi. In 2016 he is admitted to the Conservatorio L. Cherubini in Florence, studying under the guidance of Ester Castriota, and in 2020 he graduates in vocal studies.


Between September and October 2023 he will be Tamino in Die Zauberflöte in Como, Pavia, Cremona and Brescia and he will debut as Fenton in Falstaff at Theater Kiel with performances between December 2023 and March 2024, in April 2024 he will be Lippo Fiorentino in Street Scene by Kurt Weill at Opéra National de Paris, Edoardo in La cambiale di matrimonio at Bregenz Festival, Guglielmo in Elisabetta, Regina d’Inghilterra at Teatro Massimo in Palermo.

Between January and June 2023 he performs as Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia in January/February, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte and Bastiano in Bastiano e Bastiana at Teatro Regio di Torino, productions for a young audience and families. During the summer 2023 he will attend the Academy for young singers at Festival Rossini in Wildbad taking part to several concerts, to Gli Arabi nelle Gallie, Il Signor Bruschino and to the Barbiere di Siviglia in reduction for young audience.


In 2022 he is selected to take part to Accademia di Belcanto "Rodolfo Celletti" in Martina Franca; Accademia "Puccini" in Torre del Lago where he takes part to Turandot as Principe di Persia, conducted by Michele Gamba and directed by Daniele Abbado, and to La Rondine as Gobin, conducted by Robert Treviño and directed by Denis Krief; "Bottega Donizetti", the young academy belonging to Festival Donizetti in Bergamo where he attends masterclasses focused on Belcanto with Giulio Zappa and debuts Il Marchese Enrico in L'Ajo nell'imbarazzo conducted by Vincenzo Milletarì and directed by Francesco Micheli.


In 2021 he takes part to several competitions: XIII Concorso Lirico Internazionale Festival Arteincanto in Pescara; X Concorso Lirico Internazionale Anita Cerquetti in Montecosaro; Concorso Lirico Internazionale Marmo all'opera in Carrara; Concorso Internazionale Città di Sulmona "Maria Caniglia", awarded with the Prize Rotary Club of Sulmona.

In the same year he debuts in the role of Il giullare in Paolo e Francesca by L. Mancinelli at Teatro Mancinelli, conducted by Marcello Panni and supported by the Foundation Marco Besso.


In 2018 he takes part to several concerts for the "Associazione Caruso" in Florence, in particular one dedicated to Mariella Devia on the occasion of the Caruso award.

In the same year he attends masterclasses with Giacomo Prestia, Rolando Panerai and performs as  Franco in L'importanza di chiamarsi Franco by Mario Castelnuovo Tedesco at Teatro Goldoni in Florence, a production by Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.


In 2016 he is awarded as best young talent at "Città di Pienza" International Competition. In the same year he is awarded with the role of Tamino in Die Zauberflöte by Associazione EuropaInCanto and debuts at Teatro Argentina in Rome and in tournée with this production at Teatro San Carlo in Naples and at Teatro Sociale in Rovigo.
