Dario Prola was born in 1980 in Aosta. He began to study music at an early age being part of the Choir of Verrès and studying the flugelhorn baritone in 1995 he joined the Società Filarmonica verrezziese.
He started his vocal studied with Vittorio Marciano in Turin. He attended masterclasses with Claudio Desderi, Sherman Lowe and Katia Ricciarelli. At present he is studying singing with Vito Martino.
In November 2014 he was finalist at International Competition Salvatore Licitra and winner at International Competition Magda Olivero.
At Teatro Regio di Torino, in 2005 he collaborated as assistant to the stage director on the occasion of L’amore dei tre re by Italo Montemezzi, and as assistant to the stage manager for Aida, Manon Lescaut and La bohème.
The main titles of his repertoire are: Canio in I pagliacci, Calaf in Turandot, Cavaradossi in Tosca, Des Grieux in Manon Lescaut, Don Alvaro in La forza del destino, Radames in Aida, Manrico in Il trovatore, Messa da Requiem by Verdi.
He performed in theatres like: Teatro Regio in Turin, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Teatro di Nichelino, Teatru Manuel in Malta, Teatro Magnani in Fidenza, Teatro Alfieri in Asti and Teatro di Sanremo.
In August 2015 he debuted the role of Calaf in Turandot at Luglio Musicale Trapanese.

In 2017: Madama Butterfly in Bucharest, Turandot at Theater Kiel and at the Royal Opera House of Muscat in Oman.
In 2018: Trovatore (Manrico) at Teatro Verdi in Trieste; Aida in Tunisia and with Festival Luglio Musicale Trapanese; Pagliacci (Tonio) in Kiel.
In 2019: Pagliacci in Kiel; Turandot in Chemnitz; debut as Andrea Chénier and Don José in Carmen in Trieste and Pordenone.
